every player who graduates from a YAS session during 5 or more summers (not necessarily consecutive summers);

A medallion
is awarded to every YAS regular session graduate
who:
(a) improves their basketball skills, (b) shows team-work and sportsmanship during
the session's competitions, and (c) is present at the session's
wrap-up awards ceremony.
A medallion is also awarded
to every player
who: (a) plays throughout the annual YAS North-South Ironman
Tournament during late August,
(b) shows team-work and sportsmanship both on and off
the court at the tournament, and (c) is present at the tournament's
wrap-up awards ceremony.

18th Annual YAS
North - South Ironman
Tournament
The 2008 YAS North - South Ironman Tournament was played August 22
and 23
at the Cosmo Civic Centre Gym in Saskatoon. Forty senior
session graduates (age 13 - 16) from 2008 sessions held in Regina
and Saskatoon as well as some graduates from past summers
competed on regional teams
for the 2008 Saskatchewan Provincial
Ironman Basketball Tournament Title. Each team
played 8 games in 24 hours. Each player saw 80 percent floor time
during each game.
